In his own words, King Nebuchadnezzar sent a letter to the heads of all of the known countries. In the letter he told of the power of God and the miracle that had happened in his life. He told of the dream that he had and how God’s servant, Daniel revealed the meaning of the dream. He admitted that he was proud of his military accomplishments and delighted with the splendor of the capital city, for which he took the credit.
His thoughts were interrupted by a horrible punishment that Daniel had predicted. He became like a wild animal that satisfies his hunger by eating grass. This continued until he prayed to God, and was healed. [Reflection is based on the Bible Reference – Daniel 4:1-37]
