Ezekiel’s life is a demonstration of faithful service to God. If God told him to do something, he did it. This time, the Spirit of God transported Ezekiel to a valley that was littered with bones…dry bones. “Ezekiel,” God asked, “Can these bones live?” Ezekiel correctly answered, “Only You know the answer.”
Then Ezekiel was instructed to speak God’s words about restoration of life, unity and spirit. What Ezekiel witnessed, in the spirit, was to be applied to the Israelites that were scattered, depressed and hopeless. By God’s power, and to His Glory, the Israelites would be restored to their land and the twelve tribes would be as one. [Reflection is based on the Bible Reference – Ezekiel 37:1-28]
