Silently, the enemy approached the palace, where Belshazzar was hosting a festive party for a thousand VIP’s. How could this happen? The city was protected by a double set of massive walls, three hundred feet high and a hundred feet thick. Belshazzar, was staring at the answer in a mysterious “handwriting on the wall”; but, only Daniel was able to reveal God’s message. The message stated that the dominate rule of the Babylonians was about to end; and so was the life of Belshazzar, an outcome foretold by Isaiah, the prophet.
