One Hundred Eighty days…that’s how long the Show and Tell lasted; and then it was followed with a seven-day banquet. The banquet was well attended, with all the princes and nobles of the 127 provinces present. As grand as the event was, what didn’t happen will long be remembered. The king asked Queen Vashti to make an appearance; but she refused. This was a “show stopper” and it resulted in the queen losing her position.
