“Let’s Crush the Israelites!”

When King Jabin of Hazor heard the news of the Israelites defeat of cities in the southern part of Canaan, he summoned all the kings the northern part of Canaan.  They assembled their warriors, horses and chariots with a force so numerous that they appeared as the sands of the seashore.

God said, “Fear not, for by this time tomorrow I will cause them to be killed before you.”  As God promised the cities and villages of the northern part of Canaan were destroyed.

So, the Israelites took possession of the entire land, as God had told Moses.  Joshua distributed the land among the tribes of the Israelites as an inheritance.  [Bible: Joshua 11:1-23]
