Pleased with the results of Joseph’s duties in managing the storage of grain during the seven years of bountiful harvests and now the distribution during the years of famine, Pharaoh told Joseph to bring his family, households and flocks to Egypt. The land that was offered to Jacob’s family was the best land in Egypt.
