“God has blessed you with twins,” Rebekah was informed. Isaac received the news with great joy, for he had prayed to God to enable Rebekah to have children. In spite of their joy, Rebekah was troubled with the interaction between Jacob and Esau before they were born.
Wisely, Rebekah asked God what was happening in her body. He informed her that the struggle within her body was the beginning of two nations. As individuals, Jacob and Esau would struggle; both with each other and life experiences. [Reflection based on the Bible Reference – Genesis 25:19-26]
