5th Sunday Questions

Responses to questions posed to Pastor Robb.  However, we begin by imploring people to treat the topic of sexual assault very carefully in order to protect victims.  The Church should be a safe place for people who have been hurt and we need to tread carefully.  Questions answered:

If Jesus was sent to save us from our sins, what happened to those before his time who had no redeemer?  We all sin, so did they go to heaven?

In John 20:30 it says “Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.”  Are there any theories out there as to what they were?  Why would they not to want to write/record what they were to prove even more that he was indeed Jesus?

What is a Biblical view on gambling?  It is wrong to place bets or buy lottery tickets?  What about 50/50 raffles or bingo?

Was there giving or sacrifices before the fall?
