“Why Do You Call Them Hypocrites?”

Jesus explained, “People that do good things for the wrong reason are hypocrites.  For example, when giving to the poor, don’t attract a lot of attention.  These people have already received their reward; but, rather, do good things for others, as to the Father in Heaven, who will reward appropriately.”  [Bible: Matthew 6:1-4]
